For an easy walk from Spiez, take the shore path to Faulensee and stop at the benches along the lake. The Suldtal is a wooded valley alternative; its Pochtenfall circuit is a separate, steeper walk. Männlichen’s panorama path and the main approach to Oeschinensee bring you into the mountains, so read the route details before choosing. Morgenberghorn asks much more of you: the Rengglipass approach is T4 alpine terrain for experienced hikers. Pick for the least confident walker in your group.
What to look forward to
- Lake views on the Spiez-Faulensee shore path
- Woodland and streamside walking in the Suldtal
- Mountain routes chosen for your experience
Before you go
Check the named route on SwitzerlandMobility, then confirm local closures, weather and the last return connection. White-red-white mountain trails need sure footing; white-blue-white alpine routes need more experience. A short distance can still include steep, exposed ground.
